City of Chicago Honors Palwaukee Squadron's Cadet Fox





Palwaukee Squadron's Cadet Staff Sergeant Peter Fox, was honored at Sunday's Veteran Remembrance Day, with a copy of the Chicago City Council Resolution passed in his recognition.


Presenting on behalf of the City was 39th Ward Alderman Margaret Lauriono.

Cadet Fox also kicked off the 10th Annual Veterans Salute, by leading the Audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.


Thanks to Pwk CO. Major Jim Griggs and the rest of the Mayfair Veterans Committee for organizing the event and helping us to our Honor the Nations Hero's

Palwaukee Cadets Honor Chicago Veterans.



On Sunday November 6th, Palwaukee Squadrons Cadet Honor Guard was front and center at Chicago's Mayfair Park Veterans Memorial.

The Memorial was erected 10 years ago to Honor the Men and Women who have served the Mayfair community and Nation. Around Veterans Day each year, CAP Cadets Hoist New Colors during the Memorials annual Remembrance Day Celebration.

Veterans from All Branches of service were on hand along with the Chicago Police and Fire Departments. Representatives from State and Local Government were present as well including Ward Alderman Margret Lauriono who presented Palwuakee Squadrons Cadet Staff Sergeant Peter Fox with his copy of a Chicago City Council Resolution passed in his honor.
